Fabrication - Physical Computing Focus: Serial Outputs & Sensors
I decided to focus more on testing myself on coding and wiring different sensors. The first application was to try and control pitch of a speaker by using a potentiometer. I later on also played around a bit with a beam breaker but couldn't get it to work with the speaker, but for now here is what I did.
Playing around with the speaker gave me an idea of trying to make a very rough version of a Theremin, but by using the IR distance sensor. All I had to do is switch the input, thinking about this concept a step further perhaps would be maybe having lights respond when a user is conducting their own sounds.
