Creative Coding - Audio Interface Focus: Visual interpretation of sound.
From the mini Moog synth, we picked the chordpad Dune valley as the resonance element.
From the Roland JD 808 Synth, we picked shimmering path to simulate a dapple or twinkle feel.
The interaction:
Corresponding to the sensation of both sounds, we wanted both shapes to be in a constant motion of floating and when the sound is introduced it would manipulate it's size.
When the mouse is pressed or dragged the rectangle shape will shape in length in relation to the amplitude. As for the sound itself there are two modes of interaction the first is my dragged the mouse across the screen to give a panning effect and the second is by pressed on the mouse to start and pause.
